LAREDO, Texas – Laredo Sector Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technician (EMTs) assigned to the Hebbronville Station rendered first aid at a high school track meet to an injured student in Hebbronville, Texas. On March 22, Border Patrol agents were notified from Jim Hogg County Sheriff's Office requesting EMT assistance for a 14-year-old Hebbronville High School student with a possible knee dislocation. The injury occurred during a track meet competition, due to the remote location, EMS was not available.
