Pictured is The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo on Aug. 10, 2019.Cuate Santos / Laredo Morning Times staff fileLaredo's newest mayor will be holding his first major event with the public this weekend.The City of Laredo is asking locals to participate in the It's Time Texas Community Challenge Saturday at The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo. Dr. Victor Trevino will be taking part as the community will have the chance to walk with the mayor to promote physical activity. It's Time Texas Community Challenge states it is trying to unite Texans from across the state to build a healthier Texas.
